On Tuesday, Congress passed and the President enacted H.R. 7148, the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026 (CAA). The spending package includes a bipartisan agreement on a package of health care provisions – known generally as “Health Care Extenders” – that has eluded Congress since a tentative agreement was reached in December 2024.
